Franklin Street Downtown Chapel Hill

Dean E. Smith Center, Home of the Tar Heels

Carolina Basketball Museum
The museum features artifacts, videos, photos, statistical and historical panels that highlight the history of the Carolina Basketball program. The museum experience begins with a six-minute theater presentation and includes video tributes to Dean Smith, Roy Williams and the Carolina Family, Phil Ford, Michael Jordan and the history of UNC Basketball. It also includes interactive presentations highlighting Carolina's 16 Final Four appearances and 16 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament championships, and many of the greatest games and most exciting finishes in Tar Heel history.
UNC Finley Golf Course
Nestled in the verdant grounds of historic Chapel Hill, the championship Finley Golf Course has fairways more than half a century old. Finley was redesigned by Tom Fazio and now boasts flawless conditions and a range of holes suiting all skill levels.
A Southern Season Gourmet Emporium

Ackland Art Museum
Housing a collection of over 15,000 objects representing the history of European painting and sculpture, including masters such as Rubens, Delacroiz, Degas and Pisarro, this museum is great for a quick visit or full day exploration.
North Carolina Botanical Garden
The largest botanical garden in the southeast, established in 1966, this garden consists of nearly 700 acres of preserved land. Take a stroll down one of the many nature trails or through the lush gardens.
