The following information is provided to assist you in requesting a donation from The Carolina Inn. This serves as a set of guidelines for your general planning purposes. Each request will receive consideration based on the Inn’s policies. The Carolina Inn donates each year to numerous 501(c)(3) organizations whose initiatives improve the overall quality of life in our local communities.
Our guidelines are as follows:
- Organizations requesting a donation must submit a request in writing along with a contact name, date of the event/auction, tax exempt 501(c)(3) identification and event description.
- Consideration will be given to those organizations that send their request at least three months before the event and for those supporting social causes: health and welfare, children, arts and education, and sports. Please be sure to describe the people who would benefit from the donation, as well as the background and purpose of your agency.
- Full details regarding the level of exposure and potential audience profiles are instrumental in The Carolina Inn’s decision about involvement. Such information must therefore be included with the request. Decisions are made based on marketing considerations.
- Requests that are sent within 60 days of the event will unfortunately not qualify for consideration.
