The Carolina Inn has partnered with Replacements, Ltd., the world's largest supplier of heirloom china, crystal and silver, to give its afternoon teas a unique charm. Vintage cups and saucers are used to serve teas from Taylors of Harrogate, winner of England's "Best Cup of Tea" award.
Elegant portraits of teacups by local photographer Catharine Carter, which help to create an ambiance of gracious gentility, are available for purchase. Antique teacups are displayed in lovely old china cabinets along with silver framed black and white pictures of long ago weddings at The Carolina Inn.
