11th Annual Carolina Inn Birdhouses on Parade Celebration (March 21-April 8)
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (February 2012) – The 2012 Birdhouses on Parade, The Carolina Inn’s 11th annual celebration of spring taking place from March 21-April 8, features one-of-a-kind birdhouses and feeders crafted by North Carolina artists and traditional culinary treats.
The event begins Wednesday, March 21, with the opening of this year’s birdhouse displays. Drop by anytime to enjoy artist creations from Art Lituchy, Bosetti Art Tile, Branching Out, Briarwood Studios, Jack Riehl, Lilly’s Home and Garden, Nest Dwellings, Old South BirdHouse Company, RSS Woodworks, Silver Palate Feeders and The Tin Heart.
Indulge in a delicious Easter Grand Buffet Brunch on Sunday, April 8 from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Carolina Crossroads Restaurant featuring both traditional brunch fare as well as carving stations, holiday entrées and more. The Easter bunny is coming to The Carolina Inn on Saturday, April 7 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. An Easter brunch has been designed for young and old alike. A magician and face painter will be on hand to entertain everyone. Each child is welcome to sit on the bunny’s lap and receive a “sweet” treat.
