Helping to Create Romantic Chapel Hill Weddings to Remember
" I've planned many weddings but there is something special about a southern wedding. It holds its own special kind of grace and charm.
It's a lot of work to create that perfect day. The details are endless but I enjoy every single one of them. Perhaps the most gratifying to me is the moment that I am standing alone with a couple right before we open the doors to announce their entrance into the wedding reception. It's a quiet moment where I am saying good luck, congratulations, and goodbye all at the same time. Then the doors open and applause mingled with an endearing tune welcomes two people into their new lives together.
Whether you are a true Southern Belle or aspire to be one I would be thrilled to help you plan a wedding that not only celebrates your nuptials but celebrates your guests, as well.
"Southern Hospitality means friendliness, welcoming, and generosity to guests and strangers alike. Born and raised in the South, I keep this practice close to my heart. When you come from a family of four socially active girls (my poor father) and fun-loving parents who were always hosting parties, neighborhood events and family celebrations, it's inevitable that I fell in love with event planning!
I graduated from ECU (Go Pirates!) with a degree in Hospitality Management, specializing in conventions and special events. Becoming a Wedding Planner was the perfect combination of strategic planning, remedying stressful situations, and helping others navigate the unknown. Seeing the smile on my client's faces and knowing they trust me with one of the most special days of their lives makes my job the best in the world!
I hope I'm able to get to know you and help you create lasting memories with your loved ones too! "
"I'm a true Southern girl, born and raised in eastern North Carolina. I love all things southern: mason jars, magnolias and sipping sweet tea on my front porch. I live in downtown Chapel Hill with my husband Bradley and our daughter Harper Rose. There's no doubt that planning weddings at The Carolina Inn was a perfect fit for me - a place known and cherished for its hospitality and charm.
Planning weddings is hard, but there are so many moments that make it all worthwhile. After seven years of planning I still tear up for the father-daughter dance and can't wait to see the groom's face when his bride walks down the aisle. It's not just the wedding that makes my heart beat a little faster; it's the whole process from start to finish. From the engagement story to the honeymoon, I can't wait to hear the next great love story!"
